Off to the Dorchester!
Well well well. It looks like Si and I had better dust off our tux and heels for a nail-biting evening at The Dorchester in February. We are now finalists for Newcomer of the Year in the Drinks Retailing Awards
Sit back and relax while we sort your wine delivery, wherever you are in the country
Hand selected wines shipped directly from our producers to give you the best quality, service and value you’ll struggle to find elsewhere.
Our events calendar is ramping up. Take a look at what’s coming up over the next few months.
Vibrant and juicy yet classy and elegant. A classic example of Pinot Noir from Central Otago that will go down a treat with duck breast.

This wine is the best value for money in the shop. Smooth, with citrus notes and goes down a treat. Enjoy!

This wine has been a longstanding favourite of mine. Being a cool climate Aussie wine with careful use of oak this stands up to many white Burgundies in the same price range. Pairs incredibly with roast chicken or mushroom risotto.

If you like Rioja, but want to try something new then try this Ribera del Duero. Made with Tempranillo and just enough oak to give the wine complexity while maintaining it's great fruit characters. Drink it with a good cut of lamb or roasted Mediterranean veg.

Yes, we can deliver locally with our own van within a 10 mile radius of Salisbury centre. We will contact you once you have placed to your order to arrange a mutually agreed delivery time.
There is no minimum order! You can order only one bottle if you like as delivery charges are based on a value rather than volume. Any orders for delivery nationwide are free over £125 and £10 under £125. Local orders are free over £50 and £5 under that. Postal surcharges apply for some remoter parts of the UK and will be shown at checkout.
What’s in a name?! Everything! We racked our brains to come up with our name but we think it sums us up completely. All of our wines and spirits come from smaller producers. They’re made with love and passion and not in huge winemaking factories. They all have a story and they’re all made by people who really care. There is not a wine in this shop that can be found on a supermarket shelf. And that, my friends, is why we’re The Artisan Wine & Spirit Company.
Yes we do! Head over to our Events page for details of specific events but we hold regular wine and spirit tastings throughout the year either in our shop or in a venue in central Salisbury. We can also do online versions as well as private tastings for groups of friends or corporate events. There’s honestly something for everyone. They’re great fun and we guarantee you’ll leave having learnt a whole heap of new facts, found something new that you love and made new friends.
Always just email or speak to us with any questions at all. There is nothing more intimidating than being faced with a wall of wine or spirits and not knowing where to start. There’s also nothing more intimidating than a stuffy old wine merchant selling only fine Bordeaux or Port. We think those days are gone. We have more than 50 years accumulated knowledge in this industry and we want to share that. We’re friendly, approachable and we honestly want to help so no question is a silly question. Just ask!
Yes we do. If you’re buying the wine for your wedding, party or event from us, we can lend you the glasses.
Based in the heart of historic Salisbury, the Artisan Wine & Spirit Co is exactly that. All of our wines have been individually tasted and hand-selected to create one of the most interesting and exciting wine and spirit ranges in the country.
All our bottles are selected from artisan producers who share our ethos: to create, source and deliver amazing wines to wine lovers looking for the ultimate in quality and value for money.
We don’t just make the good people of Salisbury happy though. We deliver our artisan cases across the country so if you can’t visit our lovely treasure trove, please select your wines from our online shop and we’ll do the rest. Read about our story

It’s rather apt that, just as the Tokyo Olympics start and Team GB are gathering a haul of variously coloured medals, our little shop has also struck gold. Feeling rather proud standing up here on the highest podium, and possibly
