If you’d like to hold a party in a stunning medieval wine shop and bar (with its own courtyard) just a hop from Salisbury’s Market Square and Guildhall, then we can definitely help!
Our main shop and bar area has space for 50 and has a very cool party vibe. Crank the music up, get the drinks flowing and enjoy the unique venue that is the 600 year old House of John A Port.
We can arrange for our fire-cooking friends at Roam Catering to create you a delicious sharing feast, you can order in Nole Pizzas from our friends across the street or we can arrange canapés or cheese and charcuterie platters – whatever floats your boat.
If you’re after something a little more intimate, our little Tudor cottage behind the courtyard has a beautiful vaulted-ceilinged room which seats ten (known as the Fricker Room after John Fricker, the owner of the house who left it to a charitable trust in 1697). It’s a gorgeous space, full of character and charm where you can hold your own private wine tasting or simply enjoy some drinks with your friends.
