This is a delicious Malvasia from the Fontanars des Alforins region close to Valencia. This is a late-ripening white variety suited to warm mediterranean climates. Floral and perfumed with hints of apricot and a touch of mandarin. Dry and full on the palate yet still fresh and inviting. Stones fruits with delicate spice. Would be good with seafood-based rice dishes for sure.
