Based in the Hautes Côtes, Billard have 28 hectares covering areas such as St. Romaine, Auxey, Beaune and of course HCDB red and white. The wines are clean and precise with lovely pure fruit and good minerality making them easy to drink young but also suitable for mid-term aging.
Interesting (?) fact – they plough their Hautes Côtes vineyards using their own horse and the St. Romain and Pommard are done using a professional horse!
The eldest son has just completed a 2 year stage at DRC and Roumier and is now fully involved at the family estate.
