The Funckenhausen Vineyard was set up by a German family in 2003 in Mendoza and the Funckenhausen Co. series is a line of wines that uses the Riesling grape in co-fermented productions as a nod to their German heritage. This wine is a co-ferment of 92% Chardonnay and 8% Riesling. Skin contact gives a subtle complexity with notes of nuts and a light touch of spice paired with flavours of apple, pear and stonefruit.
