The Funckenhausen Vineyard was set up by a German family in 2003 in Mendoza and the Funckenhausen Co. series is a line of wines that uses the Riesling grape in co-fermented productions as a nod to their German heritage. This wine is a co-ferment of 93% Malbec and 7% Riesling. This wine has intense notes of red and black fruits and soft spice indicative of Malbec and a delicate hint of white and citrus blossom from the Riesling.
