The Funckenhausen Vineyard was set up by a German family in 2003 in Mendoza and the Funckenhausen Co. series is a line of wines that uses the Riesling grape in co-fermented productions as a nod to their German heritage. This wine is a co-ferment of 97% Riesling and 3% Chardonnay. The Riesling brings the aromatic floral notes while the Chardonnay adds a touch of green apple and minerality.
