Plantation Jamaica 2007

The latest Limited Edition from Plantation Rum is from Clarendon Distillery and has been aged for 15 years – 13 of those in Jamaica and then the final two in old Cognac casks in France. The result is intense tropical notes of banana and vanilla on the nose with apricots, allspice, orange peel and ginger. If you’re worried that’s not enough, these are followed by a mouth full of vanilla, custard and toast evolving into canteloupe, guava and cooked apple. There is a lot going on here!
