Nicely vibrant, with excellent fruit balance – bottled young after 8 months in steel. Packs some punch though; there’s no doubting that this is from Rioja’s warmer Baja sub-region. Fleshy darkness on the palate, with hints of dried, dark currants. Light hints of violets appear on the finish.
