Stauning El Classico

El Clásico from Stauning in Denmark is the first rye whisky that has been aged in vermouth casks and the flavours marry well, like a good Manhattan. What began as an experiment, turned out to be phenomenally successful. There is a perfect balance of bittersweetness on the finish that shows this whisky holds its own both neat or as the leading component to a whisky cocktail. Very versatile.
