Tamdhu 18 Year Old Single Malt Speyside Scotch Whisky

Speyside distillery Tamdhu is releasing a new 18 Year Old limited to just 1200 bottles in the UK of which we shall have just 18. The new Tamdhu 18 Year old has matured exclusively in Olosoro seasoned sherry casks from Spain, made from both American and European oak.

Sandy McIntyre, distillery manager of Tamdhu, said “Tamdhu has rightfully earned a reputation for producing the very best sherry matured whiskies, so crafting, bottling, and launching our Tamdhu 18 Year Old will go down as a true career highlight.”

Nose: Dry nutty sherry, cherry, milk chocolate, rum raisin, citrus, baked oats and plum.

Palate: Mouth coating with a complex richness, sweet vanilla with brown sugar, crisp red apple, and dried fruits.

Finish: Long and warming, dried apricot and dates, soft spice and stewed apple.
