Three Crows Hawke’s Bay Syrah

This wine is made by our good friend and absolutely top winemaker Rod McDonald. Rod specialises in Syrah and Chardonnay and his examples of these varieties have won multiple trophies, not least of all Best International Syrah and Red Wine of the Year at the International Wine Challenge. So we’re super lucky to have this one.Fresh red fruits, black cherry and black pepper explode from the glass before even taking a sip. The palate is elegant, peppery and overtly fruit-driven, with all the gorgeous spiced fruit character that is to be expected and loved from a Syrah, but far more fresh and ripe compared to the Syrah of France. Dangerously drinkable with potential to develop over the years.
